Lifelong Learning Plan

Value: Up to $10,000/year and $20,000 maximum

Students who are studying full time at RRU may borrow from their RRSPs tax-free through the Lifelong Learning Plan.

If you are an RRSP owner and a resident of Canada, you can usually participate in the LLP to withdraw funds from your RRSPs for your own or your spouse's education.

How to Apply

Read more about eligibility requirements on the Canada Revenue Agency website and contact your financial institution if you have any questions.

The financial institution that holds your RRSP’s may request a letter confirming full-time enrollment. You can request this letter from the Office of the Registrar.
