Single Parents

ACT WEST Community Foundation (“ACT WEST”) is a federally registered charitable organization whose mission is to improve the lives of single mothers by funding their post-secondary education.

We provide funding for up to 4 years of post-secondary education at a University, College or Technical Institute in BC for qualified candidates.

Eligibility

  • Single mother attending a BC public post-secondary institution
  • Is able to discuss the challenges and solutions to completing the program
  • Best demonstrates a commitment and determination to complete the program
