Videos from the student-driven TEDx event at Royal Roads are now available.

The event brought together speakers and performers with a goal to inspire people to reinvent themselves through learning and innovation. Nearly 100 people attended the July 29 event with hundreds watching via livestream. TEDx Reinvent was organized by students from the Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management and Bachelor of Professional Communication programs.

Several of the 12 TEDx speakers have a connection to Royal Roads:

School of Leadership Studies Assistant Prof. Cheryl Heykoop spoke about living with cancer and how it reminds us to live fully and learn more about ourselves and the world around us.

Paul Allison, Royal Roads supervisor of gardens and grounds, spoke about how experiencing nature can allow ideas to grow.

School of Business associate faculty members Lee Herrin and Rob Abbott and Bachelor of Commerce alumnus Taylor Conroy also shared stories about reinvention.
