In addition to our general student services, we offer the following specialized support to our International Students:

  • Health Insurance for International Students

Health insurance is required for all residents of British Columbia, including international students. For this reason all Royal Roads University students are required to have basic medical insurance while studying in Canada. Learn more

  • New Student Orientation

Our orientation team wants to ensure your transition to Royal Roads is as smooth as possible! We provide a variety of services to help introduce new students to the campus, the community, and our learning environment. Learn more

  • Specialized English Language Centre

The English Language Centre provides the resources and support you need to help you be a more confident, competent and independent learner, which will help you gain more command of the English language and be more successful in your studies at RRU and beyond. Learn more

  • Referral to Accommodation

  • Pre-Arrival Information and Communication

Pre-arrival information helps you to prepare for your arrival to campus. Pre-arrival information is sent to you by email, so please make sure your email contact information with Royal Roads is up to date.
