CTET Studio mission statement

As part of CTET, Studio's mission is to support faculty and program staff in their use of educational technologies.

We do this by providing remote and in-person support, including:

  • help with our Moodle Learning Management System (LMS)
  • ed-tech workshops
  • training opportunities
  • a meeting space for collaboration
  • workstations
  • how-to articles
  • troubleshooting guides
  • a help-desk that can be reached in-person, by phone or by email

Studio's commitment to care, creativity, and accountability reflects Royal Roads University's core values.

As educational professionals, we care deeply about our faculty and staff and the educational experiences they deliver and support.

This caring, coupled with our curiosity and creativity, is the driving force behind the service and support we provide.

We hold the view that no one person has all the answers; working collaboratively in a team-based model, we are accountable to and responsible for each other and our work.

Studio is staffed by a team of friendly and supportive professionals, including learning technologists, senior learning technologists, and instructional designers.

We come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences; our team includes former school teachers, university instructors, graphic designers, communications experts, animators, illustrators, freelancers, private consultants, software developers, programmers, project managers, business managers and more.

We bring these experiences and expertise into the service we offer, which is personal, friendly, non-judgmental and prompt.

Our faculty and staff can expect to be treated with respect, appreciation, and using clear, straightforward, jargon-free language.
