Parking at the RRU Langford | John Horgan Campus

Our campus in downtown Langford is accessible by public transit, bike or vehicle. 

Free parking for the first year!

Parking will be free of charge from July 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Vehicle parking

Parking for vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds and scooters on campus is located in the north lot, which is accessed off Peatt Road. For full details on parking at RRU Langford Campus, please review the Parking and Traffic Management Policy.

General parking

Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register your vehicle license plate at the meter. There is no overnight parking (midnight to 6 a.m.).

Accessible parking

There are five accessible parking spaces and one accessible charging station along the north corridor. Please display a valid permit and ensure you're in a designated parking space. Learn more.

Electric/hybrid vehicle parking

There are three public and one accessible EV charging stations in the north corridor. Access to the north corridor is off Peatt Road. Charging is limited to four hours. Please move your vehicle once charged.

Additional parking zones

Please note that designated vehicle parking spaces are marked and monitored 24/7, including holidays.

Drop-off & loading zone

This zone is located along the north corridor. Please keep drop-offs brief and remain in your vehicle. Marked delivery vehicles may stop briefly.

Ambulance parking

There are two ambulance parking spaces along the north corridor restricted to the Justice Institute of BC’s training activities.  

 

Bicycle parking

Outdoor bike racks and end-of-trip facilities are available for cyclists. 

  • Bicycles must be parked in a designated rack on the east side of the building.
  • Any bicycles that block access or create safety issues will be removed and may result in fines.
  • Bicycles and bicycle batteries are not permitted inside the building.

Parking rules, enforcement and reporting

Violations and tickets

The parking lot is monitored and regulated by Robbins Parking, which enforces all parking rules on campus. If you receive a parking ticket, follow the instructions on the back to make a payment or to open a dispute. Additional information can also be found by visiting Robbins Parking Website

EV charging station issues

If you're having trouble with an EV charger, please contact Operations and Resilience. We’ll investigate and follow up with you if you need support.
