As a student at Royal Roads, you have many pathways to apply your learning through program or course-based projects and challenges.

Through these experiences, you'll build valuable insights, engage in self-discovery and forge connections between your education, and professional and personal goals.

Design Thinking Challenge

The Design Thinking Challenge is an opportunity for undergraduate students to display their analytical and presentation skills and for potential employers to observe them under high-pressure situations.

Organizational Communication Live Case Challenge

Share your organization's communication challenges with graduate students in the MA in Professional Communication program. Teams research the issue and present their analyses, recommendations and communication plans in a formal presentation. You'll be invited to join us, and you'll receive a final report.

MBA Leadership Challenge

Our MBA students will analyze a leadership issue facing your organization. You'll be invited to join us to watch the students present their findings and conclusions, and you'll receive a final report. Visit the MBA page.

Advanced Strategic Integrative Practice

Working in teams, you'll evaluate your organization and deliver recommendations to address opportunities, threats and challenges. You'll be invited to attend the students' final presentation, and you'll receive a report of their findings.

This project is the final component of the MBA degree. 

Environment and sustainability major research project

Students in our BSc in Environmental Science program can help your organization with a major research project. Teams will research the subject you propose and create a report. Past projects include researching bear-resistant waste disposal in Sooke and re-establishing indigenous shellfish in Colwood.
