A future home for transformative learning

RRU Salt Spring Island was established through a generous donation made by the late Susan Bagley Bloom in July 2024 and includes two breathtaking acreages on Salt Spring Island, near Beddis Beach.

Working collaboratively with on-island partners and local Indigenous communities, our collective vision is to offer a one-of-a-kind learning experience focused on regenerative sustainability for the Gulf Islands and beyond.

Preparing for something extraordinary

We’re excited to bring programming to Salt Spring Island, and want to ensure it reflects the needs and ideas of the community. Your input will help shape the kinds of opportunities we offer.

Thank you for sharing your voice and helping shape what’s ahead. We really appreciate your time and ideas.

The survey is one of several community engagement activities currently underway as part of our strategic planning process for RRU Salt Spring Island. We are working with on-island partner SSI Farmland Trust to develop a blueprint for academic research, programming, events and activities that will take place at this new RRU site.
