Join us for the new Changemakers Speaker Series, hosted by President Philip Steenkamp and created in celebration of the university’s 25th anniversary. Throughout the year guest speakers will explore the complex challenges facing humanity and innovative ideas about how we might solve them.

These talks feature ideas for everyone, from students to alumni to concerned citizens and professionals. Bestselling author and complexity science professor Thomas Homer-Dixon (The Upside of Down) kicks off the series with his talk, “Commanding Hope: The Power We Have to Safeguard a World in Peril”.
