Indigenous Student Services is hosting an Orange Shirt Beading event for students to offer a space to come together to reflect on the legacy of Indian Residential Schools. Participants will learn a two-needle beading technique to create their own beaded orange shirt pins to honour the lives impacted by Indian Residential Schools.

There is the option to attend this event in person at Sneq'wa e'lun (Blue Heron House) or virtually via zoom. All materials will be provided. No prior beading experience is needed. If you plan on attending virtually, please register by September 15th to allow sufficient time for materials to be mailed out. Online registrations after September 15th will be honoured, but participation materials may not arrive on time. If you plan on attending in person, please register by September 24th.
