Webinar

Online

Our graduate-level Tourism Management programs have been developed for tourism professionals who want to inspire and lead change in their industry. These programs offer three central themes: leadership, sustainable community development and a global understanding of travel and culture.

Join us on May 31 for a webinar to learn more about the Master of Arts in Tourism Management and Graduate Certificate in Tourism Management. This webinar will provide you with information about the program, application requirements, and RRU student experience, as well as provide you with an opportunity to ask questions.

Dr. Brian White, program head, will host the session and our graduate Alyssa Piva will participate in talking about her experience.

  • Alyssa started her journey at Royal Roads University in August 2020. After successfully defending her thesis, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Tourism Management in December 2022. She is now the Workplace Skills Instructor for the Stk’emlupsemc te Secwepemc Nation (SSN). Her work is focused on collaborating with SSN’s Employment & Training Department to ensure community members are supported throughout their transition to employment and training with SSN’s Partners. Alyssa is also a Sessional Instructor within the Faculty of Adventure, Culinary Arts, and Tourism at Thompson Rivers University. In her spare time, she likes to spend time outdoors with her dog, Spot, cook delicious meals with her husband, and travel the world every opportunity she gets.

We encourage you to register even if you are unable to attend. Everyone who registers will receive a link to the webinar recording.
