Homer-Dixon on not giving up hope

The director of the Cascade Institute at Royal Roads University, Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon, is featured in the cover article “Hope” in Maclean’s magazine, where he discusses why we can’t give up hope just yet, even though it may feel like the darkness in the world is winning.

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

“That’s the radical hope Homer-Dixon believes humanity needs, the only road that can see us through.

‘We are a misguided species, not a failed one,’ he says, ‘and I don’t think our story is finished yet.’”

This interview appears in the Oct. 1 issue of Maclean’s.
