Political communications expert Assoc. Prof. David Black shares his thoughts on the Prime Minister travelling to Tofino to join his vacationing family on a day meant to honour Indigenous survivors of Canada’s residential school system and vaccine mandates on CFAX 1070 Mornings with Al Ferraby.

Here is an excerpt:

“…it’s this occasional lapse in judgment…things that an average person would go shake their heads at and go and say, ‘why would you do that?’”

On vaccine mandates:

“It may be, in order to get us to the other side of this virus, that the mandates are going to have to harden, become little more severe or else. And again, we have the example of the terrible news coming out of Alberta that is a possible outcome.”
