Hatley Park Museum

The Hatley Park Museum is in the basement of Hatley Castle. It holds artifacts from the Dunsmuir family and Royal Roads Military College. Unlike other museums you may have visited, Hatley Castle is a living building used by university students and staff.

Royal Roads University Archives

Our history has been captured in photographs, films, video and sound recordings, maps and other documents. Royal Roads University Archives in the university library collects original historical records and makes them available for research.

Archives staff also work in partnership with local Indigenous Peoples to document their use of the traditional lands dating back to 8,000 BCE.
