My experience here at RRU has been both rewarding and surprising.
“I came to Royal Roads University to complete the BA in Professional Communication with the goal of improving my communications skills, gaining the ability to lead the next generation of professionals and expanding my worldview. With RRU’s small class sizes (about 37 students) and strong focus on teambuilding, I never felt like I was enrolled in a typical university-level program that had hundreds of unfamiliar students. My cohort was a small group of people who come from all walks of life, including a former tree planter, a military worker and someone who used to work on a yacht. These people helped change my perspectives on life and it was a true blessing to earn my BA in Professional Communication amongst this diversity.
The instructors are flexible and experienced in their fields. More like learning facilitators than rigid professors, the teachers are there to help you on your educational journey and you’re given the freedom to explore and write about the subjects you’re truly interested in. This is also great place for working professionals, leaders and even CEOs: here, no one is going to judge you or crush you down for your opinions; instead, the focus is on constructive criticism and supporting one another. You could say my experience here at RRU has been both rewarding and surprising – certainly not anything you could get from a textbook.”
