The Sustainability Bridge Award has been established to assist Royal Roads students who are conducting graduate level research focused on environmental sustainability for food security research. The award will aim to provide support and encouragement to students who have an undeniable passion for researching environmental issues in the face of significant climate change. This research should focus on food production research, nutraceuticals, demands on water supply and/or green technologies of today or the future.

Eligibility

  • graduate student
  • satisfactory academic standing
  • research interest lies within the area of environmental issues, climate change, food production, and/or economies of green technologies
  • demonstrates reasonable financial need

How to apply

  • this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
  • pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from June 1st to August 1st (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
  • applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
  • address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition one one-page essay with your name in top margin
