Stefanie Ivan is passionate about assisting higher education institutions to attract and retain students and is working to ensure a positive and engaging experience for prospects and students throughout the journey. With more than 20 years of experience in Canadian post-secondary institutions, Ivan’s career has included faculty in adult education and general studies, registrarial affairs and student services leadership, strategic enrolment management, higher education administration, committee leadership and board governance experience.
Experience
After a brief stint as a high school teacher, Ivan joined Red Deer College. She was a faculty member in the adult upgrading and general studies programs, an academic advisor and coordinator of academic advising. Ivan held a series of roles with higher responsibility including coordinator of student services. From there, she joined MacEwan University as associate registrar, then registrar and later associate vice-president student services. In 2012, Ivan joined Academic Group Inc. as a consultant leading projects in strategic enrolment management, workshops and training, admissions, recruitment and related areas and in January 2013 became vice-president consulting. She currently has her own consulting company and continues to work with Academica Group as an Advisor/Senior Consultant.
