Slav Grygierowski has more than 20 years of leadership experience in project management of large-scale construction projects. He is committed to continuous improvement and lifelong learning, to further advance his knowledge and abilities in all areas of project management.
He is especially interested in the human aspect of project management and how emotional intelligence affects project leadership. He believes that good project management and giving back to his profession can make a big difference in the whole world and in the local community. Slav has volunteered for several years in various positions on the Project Management Institute Vancouver Island Chapter Board of Directors and most recently served as Chapter president.
Experience
Slav has significant background in design, planning and execution of construction projects. He gained his practical project management experience as a founder and general manager of two successful and award-winning landscape design, construction and horticultural consulting companies. Slav also gained experience working in senior project management positions for municipal government on large-scale public-sector infrastructure construction projects in Alberta and B.C.
