Dr. Bourget is a scholar-practitioner who has a keen interest in technology and its impacts on the world. Her doctoral research explored how technology affects Indigenous language revitalization.
Bourget combines theory and practice in business, pedagogy, academia, Indigenization, and information technology, and focuses heavily on the intersection of project management, sustainability, and change management.
As an Associate Faculty member, Bourget merges her professional and academic experiences to engage students in their learning.
Experience
Dr. Bourget is a certified project management professional with more than 25 years experience delivering technology and business transformation projects and programs.
Bourget has worked within multiple industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, information technology, and the public sector.
In addition to being Associate Faculty at RRU, Bourget works at the University of the Fraser Valley where she specializes in creating business cases and leading complex projects that drive strategic value.
