Alejandra Huerta Guerra has worked in the hotel industry for more than 20 years with international hotel experience in Switzerland, Mexico and Canada. Over those years, she has developed a passion for excellence in customer service. As a result, she now focuses her career on consulting, delivering customer service workshops and teaching at Royal Roads. Her research concentrates on customer service and the extent social media can inform training strategies. Huerta Guerra enjoys running and discovering authentic experiences around B.C. and the world. She resides in Victoria with her husband and young children. 

Experience

Huerta Guerra is a tourism consultant, customer service certified trainer and an instructor. Previously, she worked with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (Vancouver, Victoria and Rivera Maya in Mexico) in various hotel sales positions with experience in group, business and leisure travel.  She also worked for Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver and for the opening team of the Melia Reforma Hotel in Mexico City.
