The field of instructional design and instructional designers’ role and value has been amplified by the pandemic as organizations work to continue to provide education and training offerings to their students, staff, and employees. In our latest webinar, Instructional Design In & After COVID-19, we had the privilege of connecting with leaders in this space such as Dr. George Veletsianos, Melanie Meyers and Dr. Irwin DeVries as they share their perspectives on instructional design and the field of educational technology and how it has responded to the challenges and opportunities resulting from the global pandemic. The questions discussed included how instructional design and the field of educational technology have responded to challenges resulting from the global pandemic? We also chatted about what we envision for instructional design and the field of educational technology as we move beyond the COVID-19. Previous webinars in this series include Top Trends Emerging in Learning and Technology. These webinars are hosted by the MA in Learning and Technology program and the Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design.
