Hugh Gordon Leadership Scholarship

The award is named in memory of Dr. Hugh Allan Gordon who was also the first person appointed to the RRU Board of Governors, where he chaired the board and served as the university’s chancellor from the university’s inception in July 1995 until his retirement from the board in September 2003 when he was then awarded an honorary doctorate from RRU. 

The Hugh Gordon Leadership Scholarship has been established to encourage academic excellence of students studying leadership and management at Royal Roads, supporting students who excel both academically and through their leadership.
