Self Directed Study

Co-designed by the student and the supervisor to advance the student’s knowledge of the themes, concepts, and methods relevant to the student’s dissertation topic. Involves concentrated readings in specialty area and includes a review of the relevant literature as well as a review of current practices relevant to the specific area of doctoral research. Emphasis will be placed on crossing disciplinary boundaries and applying concepts from both theory and management practice to support improved management decision making. This Directed Study course is graded as a pass/fail course. *pending approval
