In this course, you will examine core Instructional Design (ID) theories, frameworks, models, and approaches that can support architecting effective digital learning experiences. You will consider the value of ID models and innovations, ID approaches for creating effective and engaging learning experiences for diverse learners, assessing learning needs from an empathetic lens, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning events, experiences, and training. You will apply design thinking and a design thinking process to the creation of digital learning environments and examine how the use of empathetic design is consistent with the development of inclusive learning environments for social justice.
