Education & Technology programs

Tim Fricker is currently the Dean of Students at Conestoga College, overseeing a portfolio of student support programs that include: Health, Counselling, Accessible Learning, Testing Services, Advising, Student Engagement, Student Rights & Responsibilities, Sexual & Gender Based Violence, and Campus Management. Previously Tim worked at Mohawk College as the Director of Student Success Initiatives and then as the Dean of Students.

In that time, Tim launched Canada’s only research centre focused primarily on student success and led a variety of studies focused on academic advising, psychologically attuned communication, learning and skills assessment, and student services.

Experience

For over two decades, Tim has worked within many areas of post-secondary education, including colleges, universities, professional associations, and the private sector. Tim’s career started in student housing and residence life, then moved into leading campus-wide advising, student success and retention initiatives, and has continued into broad student affairs executive roles.
