Keith Webster

Associate faculty

Keith Webster’s interests include the integration of web-based tools within learning management systems and research-supported practices for multimedia in learning. He is an instructional designer with the Centre for Teaching and Educational Technology at Royal Roads, supporting faculty in the design and development of online and blended learning. Recently, Webster has been presenting and writing on the state of peer-reviewed research that can support text design for online and blended learning.

 

Experience

A long-time educator, Webster has held roles as a staff instructor in the Canadian Forces, as a high school teacher, teaching educational technology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria and teaching in the Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning at Thompson Rivers University. He was an instructional designer and educational technologist at the University of Victoria for a decade before coming to Royal Roads.

He is a certified facilitator for the Instructional Skills Workshop.
