About the university

Kookmin University (KU) was established in 1946 with the aim of training leaders to rebuild the nation. Today, it has grown to become an institution of over 24,000 students, with 13 colleges and 13 graduate schools, including the College of Business Administration, College of Economics & Commerce and College of Design.

Surrounded by Bukhansan National Park, KU offers the best of both nature and city life. KU boasts a clean and green campus environment, complimented by cutting edge educational facilities. In keeping with its founding values, KU strives to educate its students to be creative, open-minded, and principled professionals who work to serve both local and global communities.

Kookmin University's exchange program

Kookmin University invites more than 200 exchange students each semester and offers a diverse selection of courses taught in English. There is ample opportunity to interact with Korean students. As the campus is close from downtown Seoul, exchange students are exposed to many of the cultural highlights which Seoul has to offer.

Course information

The Kookmin International Business School offers all of its undergraduate courses in English. As well, Kookmin University's Global Business Innovation program, delivers all of its graduate courses in English.

Accommodation

Exchange students can choose to live on-campus or off-campus. The university's dormitory is modern, clean and safe (subject to availability).  Kookmin's Global Center assists exchange students in securing housing.
