Summary

Jens joined the Centre for Teaching and Education Technologies (CTET) in June 2021. He brings extensive experience in course design and facilitation in face-to-face and online courses from his roles as an educational consultant at UBC and faculty at KPU. Jens is passionate about learner-centred pedagogy and constructive alignment in lesson planning. He holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine with a focus on interdisciplinary health research and IBD. Jens always looks for ways to bridge his research methodology with his expertise in teaching and learning. In his spare time, Jens loves to explore the beautiful nature of BC and to teach his children about nature and sustainability.
