Come to the Farm at RRU for some hands-on learning!
Join us for an in-person workshop designed to help you successfully grow heat-loving crops like tomatoes, winter squash, corn, and beans. Learn practical strategies to build rich, living soil through composting, cover cropping, mulching, and using compost teas. We'll explore companion planting, mulching, watering strategies, and how healthy soil supports climate resilience and productive plants.
Whether you're new to gardening or looking to deepen your skills, this interactive session offers both guidance and inspiration.
This workshop includes a guided tour of the farmβs summer gardens, interactive demos, and plenty of time for questions and discussion. Leave with tips, resources, and confidence to help your garden thrive all season long.
