This course examines how personal, social, economic, political, and environmental factors – including climate change and environmental degradation – shape the health of individuals and populations. It also examines the ways humans impact the planet, one another, communities, and the more than humans. The course introduces planetary health leadership through a systems lens and an interdisciplinary, multi-perspective approach, including Marshall’s Two-Eyed Seeing. Through case studies, you will explore how to lead oneself as an agent of transformation and collaborate with others to address planetary health challenges and support regenerative processes.
