Introduces the technical, creative, analytical and practical skills needed to develop multimedia projects designed to engage intended audiences. Familiarizes students with the entire media project planning, production, delivery and publicity process. Provides strategies of practice in a range of techniques including storytelling (generally and particularly visually), photo-essay composition, sound recording and editing, the integration of visuals, live interview recording, animation of text and graphics, web/graphic design, and digital-video editing.
