Provides students with a career-focused opportunity to apply and extend knowledge in a structured and supervised work term. Learning is guided by a formal learning agreement co-developed by the student, employer, and course instructor. Through active participation in professional practice, students apply theoretical concepts to both operational and strategic contexts while strengthening sector-relevant career skills such as leadership, service excellence, operational planning, and professional communication. A series of reflective and integrative assignments supports critical analysis of the work term experience and demonstrates how academic learning informs professional decision-making within tourism and hospitality environments. Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous program courses.
