With the signing of DORA, Royal Roads commits to developing a set of consistent, transparent criteria for research assessment that will contribute to decisions regarding hiring, promotion, continuing status (Royal Roads’ tenure-track equivalency), research quality, and research significance. Relevant documents will be linked here as they are developed.
Through signing DORA, we advance the first goal of our Strategic Research Plan: to “support and promote a vigorous research culture and climate that promotes equity, diversity and inclusion and creates research relevant to diverse audiences throughout Royal Roads”.
