Building off the successful three-part Navigating Uncertainty webinar series, the School of Business is excited to announce the launch of Insights for Action.

The new monthly webinar series will be hosted by MBA Program Head, Charles Krusekopf and BCom Program Head, Ross Porter and feature expert guests from across the School and beyond. The series will focus on bringing academic and professional insights to life to guide and inspire impactful change within our lives, workplaces, and society.

As recent events have highlighted, to creatively and courageously generate and push forth innovative and entrepreneurial ideas and approaches to living, working and being is more important than ever. Consistent with RRU’s new 25-year Vision, we believe we have an important part to play in inspiring change and transformation. Indeed, our research, teaching and professional practice is a deep but sometimes underutilized/shared source of insight than can and should ignite minds, inspire action, and fuel impact inside and outside the University.

In each webinar, Charles or Ross and their guest(s) will explore a relevant and timely business or management-related topic. Conversational in style, the sessions will foster lively dialogue, prescient observations, and meaningful takeaways.

The Insights for Action series kicks-off on September 29 when Ross is joined by associate faculty Dr. Patrick O’Neill. In this first episode, Ross and Patrick will discuss what it means to lead in the face of unprecedented personal and professional challenges and how to access our potential for creativity, compassion and resilience. Drawing on insights from behavioural science, wisdom traditions, and experience working with a broad array of leaders, Patrick and Ross will offer up insights that you can use to bring authentic and impactful leadership to your workplace and communities.
