Spring 2025 Convocation ceremonies to be celebrated at Royal Roads University

On June 6, Canada’s university for changemakers will hold its 56th convocation ceremony. The 708 graduates will be joined by family members and friends on campus in the Dogwood Auditorium as they receive their academic credential.
Four ceremonies will be held throughout the day at 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., with a livestream and digital program available. Graduates and their families will also be featured throughout the day on the university’s social platforms: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
“The world needs changemakers now more than ever, and our newest graduates are ready to rise to that challenge,” says Royal Roads University President and Vice-Chancellor Philip Steenkamp. “As they begin their journey as alumni, the creativity, courage, and care they showed as students will continue to guide them. I have every confidence they will make a meaningful impact in their communities, their countries, and across the globe.”
“It is a true honour to celebrate this milestone with our graduates,” says Royal Roads Chancellor and Chair of the Board of Governors Nelson Chan. “I am proud to stand alongside them today and look forward to seeing how they will apply their knowledge and skills to address the complex challenges facing our world—as leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators.”
