Here's where Royal Roads made headlines this week:

  • Brian White, professor of Tourism and Hospitality Management, was interviewed by Business in Vancouver about the promise of a successful tourism season in BC due to domestic travelers choosing not to go abroad.
  • David Black, associate professor of Communication and Culture, spoke with CTV about the issue of community safety and public drug use ahead of Victoria’s upcoming municipal election, and with CFAX on the US refusing to renew the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement for free trade.

  • Master of Arts in Leadership alum Teara Fraser wrote an article for Canadian Business about launching Iskwew Air, Canada’s first Indigenous woman-founded airline.

  • Master of Business Administration alum Trevor Koot wrote an article for Real Estate Magazine about the value of realtors in times of uncertainty.

Each week, Communications compiles links to media appearances by faculty and staff. If your appearance should be included here, please reach out to Communications.
