Here's where Royal Roads made headlines this week: 

• David Black, associate professor of Communication and Culture, spoke with Vancouver Sun and on Mornings with Simi about BC Conservative Leader John Rustad’s dare to Premier Eby to call an election and BC pipeline politics.

• Kenneth Christie, professor and program head of the Master of Arts in Human Security and Peacebuilding and Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management programs, spoke on CBC On the Island about the transfer of Transport Canada surveillance aircraft to the Department of National Defence. 

• The South Island Community Research Exchange led by professors Robert Newell, assistant professor and Canada Research Chair in Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainability and tourism and hospitality management professor Brian White was featured in Island Social Trends.
