"I started my business degree in Nova Scotia but was working in Alberta’s oil sands when I decided I wanted to complete my degree. Royal Roads was a clear choice—the length of the program, beautiful campus and quality of the instruction impressed me.
The Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management teaches you how to see businesses from the top-down, rather than through the limited lens of your position. The curriculum is fast-paced and intense—you’ll learn to think analytically at a higher level, and you’ll gain the expertise to identify opportunities and contribute to important conversations. It has given me the confidence to turn my ideas into actions.
My education at RRU has put me on the path to accepting more leadership roles. Since graduating, I’ve joined a number of committees and have planned and organized events that build directly upon the skills I cultivated in my program. In two years, I’ve already advanced through several positions within my company, and it’s my goal to keep giving back to my community.
