Food Leadership and Creative Adult Learning

Dr. Etmanski was awarded an Internal Grant for Research for presentations on a new book about leadership and transformative adult learning in the worldwide food movement.

Catherine Etmanski has recently travelled to two conferences to present her new edited book:
Food leadership: Leadership and adult learning for global food systems transformation, published by Sense Publisher’s International Issues in Adult Education Series (2017). From seed to table, the policies and practices related to all aspects of the food cycle create rich sites for learning and multiple opportunities for leadership. With contributing authors representing four countries and various Indigenous groups, sharing lessons learned from this book served to deepen our understanding and knowledge about leadership and adult learning in food-related movements worldwide.
