Bring your lunch and join the Diversity Action Group from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 for this in-person event for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day. We will view and discuss three short films by Wab Kinew, Murray Sinclair and Cindy Blackstock to learn about the ongoing impact of colonialism in Canada and how we can support action on the Truth and Reconciliation Call to Action #63 on education. Everyone is welcome and you are invited to wear your orange shirt if you wish.

This is one of three events hosted by the Diversity Action Group in September to support learning about the ongoing impact of colonialism in Canada and action that immigrants and descendants of immigrants can take to support the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action.

This event will also be held virtually Sept. 25 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Learn more about the virtual Film & Dialogue Educational Event.
