"I already had a master’s degree and didn't want to do a Ph.D.; I was seeking a micro-credential that would challenge me at a graduate level. A fellow coaching friend recommended Royal Roads and after soulful dialogue, I decided on the Graduate Certificate in Leadership. By the end of the 12-week program, I converted to the Master of Arts in Leadership, in large part to my classmates. The program encouraged my drive to research leadership theory. Throughout, this was one of the best scaffolded learning programs I have experienced.

The program has affected me greatly, professionally I am being brought in to consult on leadership challenges, including with those in much higher leadership roles than me. I attribute this in part to the embodied leadership practices that emerged through my research. On a personal level, I am more centred, confident, and curious. I am now considering the ”what’s -next” question with great anticipation.

For those thinking about studying at Royal Roads, there may be moments when you think “I can’t do it”. Most everyone I met in my programs has said that to me. I've also said that. Remember: if you are offered a letter of admission, you belong here."
