Empowers business leaders to move beyond compliance-based Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) toward purpose-led approaches to sustainability that create lasting value for business and society. Examines how organizations can embed purpose – social and / or environmental – into core strategy, governance, operations, and innovation to address complex global challenges. Drawing on frameworks such as shared value creation, stakeholder capitalism, regenerative business, and systems thinking, the course explores how purpose guides decision-making and collaboration across the value chain and beyond. Students will learn how to lead a purpose-driven company, and how to design initiatives that align profitability with positive social and environmental impact.
