Conference presentation at AIB-NE conference: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, & Social Sustainability

Juana Du was awarded Research and Professional Development funds to attend and present, at conference, work on a conceptual model of organizational resilience using cases of multinational enterprises.

This conference presentation discusses developing organizational resilience, using cases of multinational enterprises (MNEs). Responding to scholars’ call for conceptual work on the resilience of MNEs operating in a global environment of uncertainties and emerging issues, e.g. medical suppliers procurement, closed national borders, and overall deceleration of global commercial flows, this presentation provides a conceptual model of organizational resilience, emphasizing MNEs’ capabilities and their resilient attitude in responding to external disruptions and the role of non-firm factors in their response’ effectiveness. This manuscript is submitted to present at AIB-NE conference. Besides, I will also be serving the conference as a track chair.
