Master of Arts in Learning and Technology,  2022

RRU’s flexible admission policy allowed me to participate even though I did not have an undergraduate degree.

I became interested in Royal Roads after hearing the positive experiences from a few colleagues who were RRU alumni. The MA in Learning and Technology program was aligned with my career development interests, and the flexible admission policy allowed me to participate even though I did not have an undergraduate degree.

Joining a cohort of learners was one of the most enjoyable and impactful elements of the program. I developed lifelong friendships with several classmates, even though the program was entirely online, and it has been an extremely rewarding experience overall.

An outstanding outcome of my MA journey was the realization that I had the power to develop and change policy on a grand scale in my industry and that I did not have to be satisfied with the status quo but instead, could be a part of the change I want to see.

I have developed a newfound sense of confidence in my ability to learn and influence change. I am currently looking for new roles where I can leverage my knowledge and skills, roles that were previously out of my reach.
