Dr. Jorgensen was awarded Research and Professional Development funds to attend and present, at a conference, on performance-based rewards and innovative behavior.

The Annual Academy of Management Meeting is the premier conference for business scholars and practitioners; the conference rich opportunities for knowledge exchange and development of both research and teaching through the wide variety of paper presentations and professional development workshops. Further, it is At the 2017 Annual AoM meeting, together with a group of international colleagues, I expect to present a paper entitled “Performance-based rewards and Innovative Behavior: Considering HR Strength and Uncertainty Avoidance”. I am the 2nd author of the manuscript that was developed on the basis of a quantitative study on HR practices in 16 countries.
