Tess Kroeker is a psychiatric nurse, subject matter expert and instructor who has worked in diverse practice agencies including Correctional Service Canada, Forensic Psychiatric Services and as deputy registrar with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC. Kroeker is a faculty member at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is interested in understanding, analyzing and solving complex social problems. He is passionate about using his skills to help individuals with their mental health, developmental and substance use issues. He has supported initiatives including neuro-psychiatric services and pediatric services in the Republic of Tunisia, the Network for Eliminating Violence in Relationships (Surrey, BC.) Kroeker is an executive board member of the Coalition of British Columbia Nursing Associations and the vice president of the Association of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing from Douglas College (2001), a Bachelor of Health Sciences from British Columbia Open University (2001) and a Master of Business Administration with a healthcare management specialization from the University of Phoenix (2008.)
