Richa Sharma-Raisinghani is a seasoned policy and government relations professional with over a decade of experience spanning government, public, and private sectors. In her role as Senior Strategy Manager at TELUS, she leverages her expertise in communications, strategic planning, and policy analysis to navigate complex issues and drive impactful outcomes.
Previously, Richa served as a Ministerial Advisor to both the Minister of State for Infrastructure and the Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Trade in British Columbia. In these high-pressure roles, she provided strategic political, policy, and communications guidance on critical initiatives—including small business supports and grants rolled out during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her career has also taken her to Calgary, where she worked in the energy sector across public and private organizations. There, she developed a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes and honed her skills in stakeholder engagement, consultation, and policy development.
A committed community builder, Richa has contributed her time and expertise to a range of organizations. She was appointed by the Alberta government to the University of Calgary Senate, served on the board of Equal Voice (including its Alberta South chapter), and has organized fundraising galas and campaigns for local non-profits.
Politics has been part of Richa’s life from an early age—over the past 17 years, she has worked on numerous political campaigns, most recently managing a successful campaign on Vancouver Island.
Now based in the Greater Victoria region, Richa enjoys life with her husband and two young sons, bringing the same dedication to her family and community that she does to her professional work.
