Dr. Milton Almeida has more than 20 years of management and leadership experience within the hospitality industry. He has led large teams in independent and chain hotels both domestically and internationally. His desire to contribute to the wider hospitality community led him to found the consultancy Hospitality Performance Solutions, where he helps leaders create great hotels by offering a unique combination of knowledge, insight and focus. Almeida has taught in the areas of hospitality, leadership and human resources. His research interests include sustainable hospitality, leader/leadership development and the creation of moments of delight.
Experience
Almeida’s hospitality experience includes roles such as director of rooms and director of sales and marketing. Almeida also has experience leading new hotel openings. His consultancy firm, Hospitality Performance Solutions, provides hoteliers with consulting, coaching and training services that uniquely integrate practical application and cutting-edge research.
