Kayli Anderson is the managing partner at Synergy Enterprises, a corporate sustainability management consultancy and program director for the IMPACT: Sustainability, Travel and Tourism Conference in Victoria, BC. Her work is centered around carbon accounting and inspired by the belief that businesses have the opportunity to impact global change and bring the world into a new age of environmental and social well-being.

A key focus has been working with businesses to improve their performance beyond the triple bottom line using the B Corp certification program. Through B Corp, Anderson helps businesses improve their best practices on governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

Experience

Anderson started working with small business in cafes and restaurants across the world. Her passion for sustainability led here to Synergy Enterprise where she is now co-owner. For the past six years, Anderson has been working with businesses to assess their environmental impact, implement reduction strategies and engage staff and customers along the journey. This work has included carbon analysis for solutions, capital planning, employee engagement and change management, corporate social responsibility reporting, communication strategies and more.

As the program director for the IMPACT: Sustainability, Travel and Tourism Conference, Anderson is engaging leaders in tourism from across Canada to develop a program that will address culture and heritage, community and sense of place, environment and ecology and the economy.
