Heidi Grantner is a project manager at Synergy Enterprises, a corporate sustainability management firm. At Synergy, she works with clients in the tourism, manufacturing and transportation sectors to integrate sustainability into planning, policy and operations. She has more than five years of experience conducting Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories, creating GHG reduction strategies and communicating results. Grantner enjoys finding creative solutions at the intersection of the economy and the environment, so both can thrive.

 

Experience

Grantner has extensive experience creating and analyzing GHG inventories for a diverse range of businesses and organizations. She specializes in inventories for air and marine ports and is an approved carbon footprint verifier for the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme (ACA). She has also conducted water audits and waste audits, and created internal tracking tools to help companies manage their environmental metrics.

Grantner now manages a portfolio of more than twenty clients, including leading businesses in manufacturing and technology. She helps her clients achieve best-practice certifications including B Corp and Clean Marine.

Grantner is completing her MBA at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She is an approved verifier from the Airport Carbon Accreditation Programme (2019) and is a greenhouse gas emissions inventory quantifier (GHG IQ) from the Canadian Standards Association (2016).
